FAKE Gotchi is fine cryptoart backed by the ERC-721 token standard. They are FAKE because they are derivatives of Aavegotchi. They are great because they are FAKE; the weightless, dark matter to answer Aavegotchi’s gravitational pull in the Gotchiverse.

FAKE Gotchi Card (Card) is an ERC-1155 NFT that enables the holder to mint a FAKE Gotchi NFT. The first step in minting a FAKE Gotchi is to burn a Card.

FAKE Gotchi Cards are capped at 2,535.

The maximum supply for each FAKE Gotchi NFT is 100. This means that for every FAKE Gotchi card a publisher can mint up to 100 editions of the same FAKE Gotchi NFT.
If each publisher were to mint the maximum 100 editions of their FAKE Gotchi artwork (unlikely) the max amount of FAKE Gotchi NFTs would be 253,500.

FAKE Gotchis are canonized art inspired by the deep lore and variety of characters that inhabit the Aavegotchi universe.

As ERC721 standard NFTs, you can trade FAKE Gotchis any supporting NFT marketplace but you’ll have the best experience at fakegotchis.com and at aavegotchi.com’s Baazaar marketplace.

Your best bet is to either purchase a FAKE Gotchi card on the secondary marketplace, or join the Aavegotchi Discord server and find a publisher to work with!

You will need a web3 wallet and some GHST tokens on Polygon Network.

The total Royalty for secondary sales is 7.5%. 4% for the publisher and artist and the standard 3.5% allocation that goes to Pixelcraft Studios (2%), AavegotchiDAO treasury (1%), and the Rarity Farming Rewards Pool (0.5%)

Dual-streamed royalties allow the 4% allocated to the publisher to be split between up to two wallets. The Publisher and Artist will need to come to an agreement on how they split royalties earned.

To do it yourself, you will need to own a Gotchiverse land parcel, craft and equip an NFT Display, and then select your FAKE Gotchi from the Display. However, you can also consider partnering with land owners in the Gotchiverse and leverage our profit sharing contract to incentivize others to host your works for sale in the Gotchiverse!

If your FAKE Gotchi violates the rules and doesn’t make it through The Queue, you will not be able to receive the card back, so make sure you check all the boxes before submitting!
